How credits work
Every AI interaction uses credits. The number of credits depends on which AI mode you choose.
Paralegal
1 credit per interaction
Quick tasks, simple drafting, fast research
Lawyer
3 credits per interaction
Detailed review, thorough drafting, in-depth research
Senior Associate
15 credits per interaction
Complex analysis, multi-party contracts, high-stakes work
Credits reset at the start of each billing period. Not sure which mode to use? Select Auto and Parachute picks for you.

Contact salesFrequently asked questions
How is Parachute different to ChatGPT?
ChatGPT relies on you to ask the right questions. Parachute proactively gathers context from your knowledge base, jurisdictions, and organisation profile to give tailored, accurate legal responses. Plus, Parachute has a real-time collaborative editor, document review pipeline, and expert verification built in.
What are credits?
Credits are how Parachute measures AI usage. Each AI interaction costs credits depending on the mode: Paralegal costs 1 credit, Lawyer costs 3, and Senior Associate costs 15. Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance that resets each billing period.
What kind of documents can I create?
Privacy policies, data protection policies, terms of service, contracts, NDAs, employment agreements, information security policies, incident response plans, and more. Parachute is built for Australian jurisdictions with jurisdiction-specific drafting.
How does expert verification work?
Request verification on any document and it routes to your connected law firm or the expert pool. A qualified professional reviews your document in a collaborative editor with real-time chat. Pricing is per verification and shown upfront.
Can law firms use the free plan?
Yes. The free plan gives law firms limited credits to explore the full platform, including document drafting, review, and the knowledge base. Upgrade to a paid plan for more credits, additional AI modes, and the expert verification marketplace.
How much does Parachute cost?
Parachute has four plans. Free ($0) includes 2 seats with limited daily credits and basic AI models. Basic ($400/mo annual, $500/mo quarterly + GST) includes 2 seats, 20x Free credit limits, and all AI modes including Senior Associate. Professional ($1,250/mo annual, $1,750/mo quarterly + GST) includes up to 8 seats, 100x Free credit limits, SSO, and prioritised support. Platinum ($3,500/mo annual, $5,000/mo quarterly + GST) includes up to 25 seats, 300x Free credit limits, onboarding services, and priority support.
What features are included in every plan?
Every Parachute plan includes AI document drafting, automated contract review, deep multi-stage analysis, in-line suggestions, multi-jurisdictional drafting, a real-time collaborative editor with version history and comments, Word (DOCX) and PDF export, a global knowledge base curated by Parachute, an organisation knowledge base, knowledge base conflict detection, the Word add-in, email to thread, workstreams, team member roles (RBAC), Australian data residency, and email support.
What is the difference between Parachute plans?
The main differences are seats, credit limits, and AI modes. Free gives 2 seats with limited daily credits and basic AI models (excluding Senior Associate). Basic adds 20x credits and Senior Associate mode. Professional adds up to 8 seats, 100x credits, client retainer invitations, SSO, and prioritised support. Platinum adds up to 25 seats, 300x credits, onboarding services, priority model access, community and event access, and first beta access to new features.
Where is Parachute data stored?
Parachute provides Australian data residency across all plans. Your data is stored in Australia with enterprise-grade encryption and SOC 2-aligned security practices.
