Drag, drop and plans
Drag-and-drop file uploads with rich previews, PowerPoint support, a new in-app plans page, and a refreshed website.
A new home on the web
We rebuilt goparachute.ai from the ground up. New information architecture, sharper copy, and dedicated pages for the things people kept asking about, like how Parachute compares to ChatGPT, Harvey, Clio, and others. We also published a set of guides for firms evaluating legal AI for the first time.
File uploads, reimagined
Uploading files in chat used to be functional. Now it’s good.
Drag and drop a file anywhere in the conversation and a visual drop zone appears. Once uploaded, you get a proper preview: images open in a lightbox, PDFs render inline, and Office documents (Word and PowerPoint) get type-specific formatting with tooltips so you know exactly what you’re looking at.
We added PowerPoint support too. Drop a .pptx or .ppt file and Parachute automatically converts it to PDF for inline viewing. The conversion happens in the background, you just see the result.
Each file gets its own loading and error states, and removing an attachment is a single click. Behind the scenes, we rewrote how attachments are fetched with concurrent pre-fetching and deduplication, so everything loads faster. The per-file upload limit is now 500 MB.
Plans page
Changing your subscription plan used to bounce you out to a Stripe portal. Now it happens in-app.
The new account plans page shows your current plan alongside every available option. Each card tells you whether it’s an upgrade or downgrade, and switching is a couple of clicks. No context switch, no external redirect. We also added a “View plans” shortcut to the subscription card so you can get there faster.
