Matters gives you a way to group all of that together.
One matter, many threads
A matter is a container for related threads. Create a matter, link threads to it, and everything stays connected. Each thread still works the way it always has, but now the threads are part of something bigger.
Need to draft a privacy policy, review a vendor contract, and respond to a client question, all for the same engagement? That’s three threads, one matter. The work stays organised without you having to keep track of it in your head or a spreadsheet.
Assign and organise
Matters can be assigned to members of your team. When a matter is assigned to someone, they can see all the threads linked to it and pick up where anyone else left off.
Each matter has a status (open or closed) so it’s clear what’s active and what’s done. You can also control visibility: public matters are visible to everyone in your organisation, while restricted matters are only visible to the people assigned to them and organisation admins.
Your context, always accessible
Every matter holds the full picture. Notes, linked threads, and assigned team members are all in one place. When you open a thread that belongs to a matter, Parachute has access to the broader context, not just that single conversation, but the whole matter.
This means better AI output. Parachute can reference related threads, understand the bigger picture, and give you responses that are grounded in everything you’ve already done on that matter.
